Personal Use Days

A day of personal use includes:

• Any day you or another person with an interest in the unit uses it, unless rented to another owner as their main home at a fair rental price.
• Any day a family member of you or another person with an interest in the unit uses it, unless they use it as their main home and pay a fair rental price.
• Any day under an agreement allowing you to use another dwelling unit.
• Any day the unit is rented at less than fair rental price.

Spending lots of days in excess of the 14-day limit “maintaining” the property and fixing it up do not count as personal days.
